Maya Bond-Duarte

Licensed Midwife

Maya is a mother of three beautiful children . She has been attending out-of-hospital births since she was a young girl, but her journey into midwifery didn’t come until the home birth of her first child in 2011. Feeling transformed in her own experience, she felt called to make a difference. She immediately began her formal education in midwifery, while simultaneously becoming a doula, birth assistant, and educator in diet and nutrition. Maya knows that her life’s purpose is to have an impact on others and believes true change begins at home. She believes that providing evidence-based care in a safe and supportive environment, parents and their families are empowered to make informed choices. Maya considers herself humbled and honored to be trusted by families of all walks of life during such a remarkable time.
